Cuba
Two Centre Holiday To Cuba.
If you have come to read this write up I am assuming that you are interested in organizing your next trip to Cuba. Well that makes me very happy. What I intend to do in this article is to guide you through the best possible combinations of centres in order to make the most out of your experience in Cuba.
There are not many places in the world that can offer what you can find in Cuba. Not only Cuba has one of the best beaches in the world but it also has a fantastic geography. Mountains, rivers, lakes, caves, valleys and of course the best beaches in word make its landscape a very enjoyable one. But what Cuba has that makes it really unique its culture, its history, its architecture and of course the fact that it is the only socialist country in Latin America.
If you are thinking to primarily rest following a hard lengthy period of work and at the same time looking for some interaction with the Cuban way of life then I would propose you to do a twin centre holiday. There are lots of alternatives and I will point out in this article which in my estimation are the most appealing ones.
Havana and Varadero: Perfect combination for those who are not interested in traveling long distances. There are only 157 kms from Havana to Varadero and that can be covered by taxi in less than 2 hours. Both cities have international airports so you can choose either to start your itinerary from. No need to mention in this article what Havana and Varadero have to offer I am sure there are plenty of articles devoted to each of them in the web. Regarding Varadero, lets just say that it is the most famous beach resort in Cuba and its beaches are among the top ten in the world.
Viales and Cayo Cayo Levisa: Both areas are located within Pinar del Rio Province. This suggestion is mainly for those who love to be in direct contact with nature and do not like to stay in huge spoiled all inclusive beach resorts. Pinar del Rio is famous for having the most picturesque landscapes of Cuba. It is also the land for the best tobacco in the world. Cayo Levisa it is a beach location only an hour if not less far from Viales Valley by taxi and to get to almost virgin island you need to get on a boat for about 20 minutes. There are only 42 rooms very basic but with all the facilities that you can expect within your room.
Havana and Jibacoa: This twin centre holiday is ideal for those who like to relax far from that comes with some huge beach resorts. It is very close to Havana. So if you feel you did not have enough of the Capital and its night life or its restaurants you can very easily take a taxi from Breezes Jibacoa Hotel and you will be in Havana in less than 1 hour. Not very expensive a taxi will cost about 30 Cuban convertible pesos (15 Sterling pounds).
You can do as many destinations as you want obviously depending on few factors like duration of your holidays and how long you are willing to travel but a twin centre combination it is always a very relaxing way to get to know Cuba.

Cuba Sun and Sand
Waking up, going over to the window and seeing the unmistakable blue of a tropical sea. There\’s no better therapy, no better way of greeting the day. While on your Cuba Holidays, this is a daily experience, and you can enjoy it not only in a beach hotel but also in one of the more luxurious hotels in the city and even up in a mountain retreat. Here, the sea is a living presence; in those few places where you can\’t see it, you can still smell and sense it.
There is an average of 330 sunny days a year, with few clouds. The main tourist resorts (including the ones on the cays) have international airports, and the excellent hotel infrastructure is complemented with a wide range of extra hotel facilities (car and bus rentals, marinas, scuba-diving centers, shops, beauty parlors, fitness centers, etc.), entertainment during the day and at night, excursions to nearby cities, medical attention, and special family and honeymoon Cuba holiday packages.
The Cuban archipelago, which is 42,854 square miles (110,992 square kilometers) in size, consists of the main island of Cuba-a long and narrow island measuring 744 miles (1200 kilometers) from east to west, the largest island in the Antilles-the Isle of Youth and around 4195 other cays and islets.
The high degree of conservation of its coral formations and beaches attests to its cleanliness. It has a gentle subtropical climate, the product of warm water cooled by The trade winds, so temperatures range between 75.2 and 84.2 F. (24 and 29 C.).
Not disappointed thousands of tourists who make dives here every year, some of them as beginners making their maiden dives in Cuban waters, accompanied by experienced divers whose expertise is attested to by the World Underwater Federation (CMAS), the American-Canadian Underwater Certification (ACUC) for scuba-diving classes and other prestigious international schools.
Coral reefs extend along practically the entire edge of the broad insular shelf (for around 1984 miles, or 3200 kilometers). More than half of these reefs are separated from the main island by large areas of shallow water and groups of cays.
Scientific studies estimate that there are over 500 species of fish; 200 different kinds of sponges (cup, tube and branch); around 60 kinds of coral; and a large sample of mollusks, crustaceans, gorgonians, algae and Common Sea Fans (Gorgonia spp.) in Cuban waters.
Cuba undoubtedly is one of the most stunning tourist destinations in the World. Add the irrefutable fact of a super rich culture and you have the ideal recipe for a memorable holiday.
